From the Publisher: Get in the Wind
By Our Publisher Derek Smith
As Reasons To Ride continues to grow, we’re proud to continue rolling out new regional editions and reaching more corners of the riding community. As we do, you will notice some stories, events, and features crossing over between state editions — and that’s by design.
We want riders to look beyond the same old roads.

There’s a lot more out there than the bike night down the street or the same loop you’ve ridden a hundred times. There are small-town rides, charity runs, dealership events, veteran benefits, poker runs, bike shows, and hidden stops all across the map. Sometimes the best ride starts when you point the front wheel toward someplace new. A bike night two counties over, a charity ride in another state, a small-town festival you’ve never heard of, or a dealership event that turns into an all-day ride with friends — these are the kinds of experiences and potential adventures that fuel the riding spirit and often spawn the stories that are told for years.
That’s what Reasons To Ride has always been about — giving riders a reason to get out, meet good people, support good causes, and discover what’s happening beyond their own backyard.
We also want to encourage more riders to get off the sidelines and get involved. Join a local riding organization. Support a charity run. Volunteer at an event. Help promote a bike night. Bring your friends. Shake hands. Fly the flag for your community.

The riding world is a whole lot more interesting — and a whole lot more fulfilling — when you’ve got a stake in it.
And if you’re the kind of rider who knows the local roads, shows up for the right reasons, and wants to help connect riders with the events, businesses, and causes that keep this community alive, we’d like to hear from you. We’re always looking for good people to ride with us and represent Reasons To Ride in their local area. mailto:Info@ReasonsToRide.com
At the end of the day, this magazine isn’t just about bikes. It’s about the people, the places, the miles, and the memories made along the way.
So get in the wind. Take the long way. Find a new road. Support a local event. And don’t just watch the riding community roll by — be part of it.
We’ll see you out there.
