RALLY UPDATE: July 17-21 MUSKEGON, MI

MICHIGAN’S BIKE WEEK returns to the LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE of MUSKEGON!

We are all counting down to the week of July 17-21, when we will be heading to Muskegon Michigan – right on the shores of LAKE MICHIGAN – for MICHIGAN’S BIGGEST BIKER BASH – REBEL ROAD!   This is an incredible rally in one of the region’s most scenic areas – drawing thousands of bikers from across the state, Midwest, and even Nation.

When you consider everything Rebel Road has to offer, along with Hot Rod Harley-Davidson down the street, and of course the historic Muskegon Motorcycle Club hosting their HILL CLIMBS and drags the following weekend – it truly is MICHIGAN BIKE WEEK!

For 2024, Reasons To Ride has teamed up with Rebel Road and the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon to help kick things up and help spread the word about this amazing event – of which 100% of the proceeds go directly to help support local kids in need.

Here are just a few of the things in the works now –

KICKING THINGS UP ON STAGE!

As the rally has continued to grow and evolve – Rally organizers are kicking things up on the main stage, which was kinda a necessity as the bikes are getting louder and louder on Western Avenue.

For many, Chad Flores stole the show when he took to the Miller Lite Stage last year during Rebel Road.  His hard hitting “Michigan Country” blew away the crowd after winning the chance to open for Ward Davis through last year’s Battle of the Bands.

On Friday, July 19thJosey Scott – the original voice of Saliva will be headlining the Miller Lite Stage.  As the lead singer, Josey created rock anthems such as “CLICK, CLICK, BOOM”, “Your Disease” and “Anthem”.  You can check them out at JoseyScottRocks.com

On Saturday, July 20th – the REBEL ROAD will ROCK with the rowdy big stage show that is TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION.  THC has been a favorite at rallies and bike events across the country – and Rebel Road is pleased to present them at part of this year’s rally.

Even with this jacked line-up, the Rebel Road concerts remain completely free to attend thanks to Rally sponsors, including – Miller Lite, Twisted Tea, Michigan Biker Law, Betten Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Buick, and Reasons To Ride: Michigan

Even with recent success, the rally is still focused on showcasing and promoting the local community – including local musicians.   After last year’s success with our first-ever Battle of the Bands, we knew we needed to kick it up a notch for year two. So, we’ve partnered with Rock 101.7 FM and The Intersection to present the Rebel Road Battle of the Bands 2024.

Three nights of competition with the winner getting a chance to open for Texas Hippie Coalition at Rebel Road 2024!

Preliminary Rounds will take place March 22 and 23 at Elevation with the finals taking place March 30 at The Intersection.  Think your band has what it takes to win? Get entered to find out! Otherwise, come check out some great acts and help support the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County .  To register your band for a chance to qualify, just go to ROCK1017FM.com.  Find tickets and more info at www.sectionlive.com

The REBEL ROAD BIKE SHOW

Last year’s bike show showcased an amazing array of bikes of various styles from across the Midwest and even Canada.  Like everything else, this year’s show promises to be even bigger and better as the RTR Crew has been conspiring with the Rebel Road team to come up with even more excitement and extras for those coming out.  Look for new badges and extras for those exhibiting bikes – as well as new classes and possibly even a SOUND COMPETITION

MORE VENDOR / EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES!

Reasons To Ride will also be collaborating with Rally organizers and sponsors to introduce expanded vendor opportunities – including possible Paint / Pinstripper areas and motorcycle service areas.  We are also looking to encourage more Michigan riding organizations and event organizers to come out and set up during the Rally.   For information on vendor opportunities – please email us at Info@ReasonsToRide.com

THE RALLY GUIDE and RALLY RIDE  NEW FOR 2024!

Of course, with so many things going on – there needs to be an Official Schedule for the Rally and various events / activities being held throughout the area.  So, Reasons To Ride will be collaborating with the Rebel Road Rally and other local businesses and riding organizations to create an OFFICIAL 2024 RALLY GUIDE for the Muskegon Region and MichiganBikeWeek.com.  Additionally, the Rally Guide will be featuring a new RALLY RIDE – to help showcase recommended ride stops and businesses throughout the area.  This will be the ONLY Official Guide to Michigan’s Bike Week – and will be offered in both print and digital versions.

If you have a business catering to, or hosting an upcoming event for motorcycle enthusiasts, or are in the area and simply want to support the cause – we’d invite you to become a part of the Rally Guide and possibly a STOP on the Rally Ride.  This is your best means of reaching riders attending the rally – with copies being placed directly into the hands of riders at hotels, restaurants, and event locations throughout the Rally.  It will also be sent out to over 300,000 print and digital subscribers, followers of Reasons To Ride!  For information on how you can be involved – email us at Info@ReasonsToRide.com
